It uses NOS JAN6418 vacuum tubes and delivers 1 W @ 8 Ω, capable of driving even demanding headphones while preserving the delicate tonal character only tubes can provide.

If microphonics ever occur due to external shock, simply reconnect the USB-C cable — the microphony disappears, but the tube magic remains.

Warmth And Power

I’ve had this a week and have used it for a few hours. It takes it a minute to warm up and there are some phonics to a small amount but once it warms up they are not noticeable. The sound presentation is warm and organic with just the right amount of that nostalgic tube amp sound that delivers that warm hug to the playback. The bass boost is not big but maybe >2db to give your iem’s that slight bump that is noticeable.
This is a little thicker than other similar dac/amps but to add the required space for the tubes I understand the design. The power is sufficient enough to give all the iem’s I have plugged into it that extra kick . I did have a couple I had to slightly pull out the cable jack on the 4.4 to get to it to connect to the left side but worked after a slight adjustment. I keep a small .005 shim washer that has 5mm opening to place under the jack if need be but it’s not needed on most of my cables.
If you’re looking for a powerful , warm tube organic analog presentation you will be more than happy the MKII . I prefer to leave the HP switch toggled and of course with the side volume knob pushed it to engage that extra bass emphasis .. I totally recommend this to anyone looking to take it to the next level..

Amazing Clarity

Very happy with the L-amp mk-2. For the price, I am not sure how I could get any better sound....with punchy bass deep into controlled sub bass and smooth mids (not too forward or recessed) wth refined yet clear treble.Paired with my HD-650's I am simply amazed. I am happy to note that there has not been even a hint of microphonics even when using my Tea pro se items I recently bought. These pairings are wonderful. Truly happy with my purchase and would highly recommend this refined portable tube sound found only the EarMen l-amp mk-2.

Great and Amazing product beyond the expactation

Digs out the potential peformances of headphones, I even feel is this the same headphone I owned? Originally, I can only hear a flat stage by using old device, and now I can hear a 3d stage, it's more like a desk level dac/amp with a portable design and size.

Really impressive

I am extremely pleaseed with this unit. It has a full, rich sound and pulls out all the details. I'm currently using it with a wifi streamer and my Meze 109 Pro or my Grado Hemp. it's replaced my Mojo 2 as my desktop dac as it has a much fuller sound. I don't use it as a portable dac so I can't comment on this use case.
